This is just a fast hello to anybody who stumbles across Morgan’s Barn Mead during our fast and furious weekend web development. The objective isn’t to provide the greatest bling site on the Web right now… it’s about getting a functional communication medium in place to talk about our business and the mead industry.
Features we hope to put into place in the near future are a Morgan’s Barn Mead membership that will provide special offers after we release our commercialised product next year. This will also allow you to sign up to infrequent and not spammy email updates. We have a bit of merchandise you might like to buy to support us along the way. And we’ll keep you updated about our progress getting finance.
We would also like to share the story of the people who make up that line between the first fleet convict Richard Morgan (1748-1837) and our mazer. There are some interesting pieces of history about Tasmania and British settlement of Australia.
